Q: What piston rings are best for a 2007 D4EA Kia Carens 2.0 CRDI?

A: Welcome to contact us for more informations(brakeliningkit@gmail.com)

Q: Why do Kia engines use turbo technology?

A: For 2 thing Turbochargers are not a Technology the are a exhaust driven turbine I’d a Hydro power station the water turns the turbine

then Cars or trucks thr spent exhaust gases spin the turbine side of the turbo that spins the compressor side which sucks in Air to create boost

They are doing it to down side engines like every one else’s though they have made bigger Natrual Aspitred engines to they have increased the Capacity of there 2.4 GDI inline 4 to 2.5 litre GDI in line 4

they have build a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder GDI turbo like Mazda

though I have friends abs relatives thst have non turbo charged Kia’s and Hyundai

I own a 2.2 litre R series Diesel powered DM Hyundai SantaFe I know friends who have the pervious Generation with the Same Engine my Dad had the Sane one though it had an Italian sourced 2.2 litre turbo diesel 4 cylinder thst was used up until 2010 when they launch the 2 litre and 2.2 R series diesel

though I don’t believe turbocharging a car makes it More efficient or greener they are tuned to have as much Grunt as the engine it replaced so more torque but possible less horsepower or more

when Ford replaced the 2 litre GDI 4 cylinder with the 1500 GDI 4 cylinder turbo horsepower rose from 160 or 170PS to 184PS

torque rose from 150 ft lb or 200 NM to 184 ft lb 249 NM

so in theory Ford has not downsides the engine but made the 1.5 GDI turbo 4 cylinder now as big as Mazda Skyacyiv 2.5 litre GDI 4 cylinder that has just a bit more 190 PS and 252 NM

when Chevrolet build the LTG GDI 4 cylinder to gonrbinthere Cars abs Crossover

thr now disbanded Car brand Holden thr Gront drive Buick Regal had LTG GDI 4 cylinder turbo it produced 191 KW or 260 PS and the produced 400 NM or 295 lb ft but was detuned to 350 NM is it was grunter than the 3.6 litre GDI though thr V6 produced 235 KW or 320PS And 350 NM or 258 lb ft

Hyundai and Kia built the 3.3 and 3.5 litre Bi turbo GDI V6 to replace the V8 the had on the genesis cars thr V8 were actually cam from Mitsubishi V8 when they use to make them,

there’s New Biturbo GDI V6 produce more torque than the V8 they replaced.
