Visit Fang Zhimin Memorial Hall
This time, we specially set aside time to visit the Fang Zhimin Museum, reminding us to remember the efforts of our ancestors and not forget the original heart to follow the Party.
Fang Zhimin was a great proletarian revolutionary, strategist, outstanding peasant movement leader, and the main founder of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi revolutionary base area and the Tenth Red Army Regiment during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. In November 1934, Fang Zhimin became the chairman of the military and Political Committee of the 10th Red Army Regiment, and led his troops to the north to resist Japan. On his way back to northeast Jiangxi, he was unfortunately arrested on January 29, 1935, and died on August 6. In prison, he with firm faith, amazing perseverance, wrote "lovely China", "Poverty" and other immortal manuscripts of more than 100,000 words. In September 2009, Fang Zhimin martyr was selected by 11 departments including the Central Publicity Department and the Central Organization Department as one of the 100 heroes who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China.
